Here’s the Story of How I Fell in Love with Personal Branding.
In this process, I aspire to help 1,000 creators become financially independent using their personal brands.
People love to hear stories.
Perhaps, that’s the only reason, why people keep asking me how I got started in personal branding.
To be honest, I can’t think of another reason.
But here it is.
The story of how I rolled into personal branding.
It’s December 2020, and I published my first blog post on personal branding.
Not knowing it would change the course of my life.
In hindsight, the headline was pretty spot on.
Fun fact: some weeks ago, during a stay in Berlin, I cruised around on my electric step.
I ran into something I recognized.
Look which mural I suddenly saw.
It’s the exact same drawing I picked out of thousands of images on Unsplash.
Tell me again how you didn’t believe in synchronicities.
Anyhow, back to the story.
I published this article.
A bit more than crickets happened (> 2,4k views), but no worldwide fame yet. Still not to this day, I feel I’m on the right track.
After this first article, people starting to give me feedback my content helped them with their personal brand.
I didn’t even have a personal brand myself.
But, in hindsight, it was all I was doing since March 2020:
I was creating content online and building an audience. I did a conscious effort to sculpt my online persona.
